Mediatized Sapiens: Communicational knowledge

Pedro Gilberto Gomes 190 In the necessary choice, we seek observation materials empirically situated in the sphere of the mediatization ambi- ance, according to the dynamics of media processes. To develop the research, we intend to analyze texts of academic production on mediatization in Brazil, Argentina, and the Anglo-Saxon world, such as Denmark, Germany, England, Sweden, and Norway. Through concepts such as mediatization, mediation, circulation, ambiance, system, interaction, influence, and devices found in the articles examined, decanting others that appear underlying, hoping to bemoved analytically to the sphere of intelligibility, configuring a cut constituted by the theoretical production itself; that is, to carry out a phenomenological work, to bring them to a region of existence and visibility. Texts on various mediatization phenomena will be part of this corpus. Equally, from core concepts, we intend to raise the submerged elements that serve as a foundation for the operating concepts of the research. Here, particularly, to seek along with research on the mediatization of the functioning of social prac- tices (religion, politics, education, for example), the functioning within them of certain concepts that appear as a foundation for the operations of other concepts in the specificity of each prac- tice. They would be hidden concepts that configure the condition for the production/existence and functioning of other concepts that, like epigenetics, are not achievable from a superficial view. If we examine the subset consisting of advertising texts that offer sale/consumption of media products, such as computers, smartphones, electronic equipment, we can also find some important hidden codes. Behind what is predicated of them, what notions are associated? Postulates of utilities appear, such as notions of digital life, artificial intelligence, ambiance, body, language, etc., which hide other background concepts. I think about what I call a new way of being in the world or a new way of being and living in society. Michel Serres44 (1930-2019) does the transition from digital life to philosophy and vice versa based on concepts. He makes narratives about the digital world a background issue 44 SERRES, Michel.
