She holds a master’s degree in Comunica- ção e Linguagens from Universidade Tuiuti do Paraná (2007), a doctoral degree in Ciências da Comunicação from Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos – UNISINOS (2012), and a post-doctoral degree in Comunicação from Universidade Federal Fluminense (2018) through a Procad Project CAPES/UFF/UPFE/UNISINOS. Currently, she is a professor and researcher at Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sino (UNISINOS), where she works in the Gradu- ate Program in Ciências da Comunicação, research line Mediatization and Social Processes, along with the undergraduate courses of Advertising, Journalism, and Public Relations. Since 2009, she also coordinates the graduate program in Ciências da Comunicação at the same institution. Experienced in the Com- munication area, with emphasis on Journalism and Advertising, working on these themes: mediatization, image circulation, visibility, imaginary, photojournalism, and media framing. She is the leading professor of Laboratório de Circulação, Imagem e Midiatiazação Working Group – LACIM (CNPq) and a member of the group Midiatização e Processos Sociais.
