Mediatized Sapiens: Communicational knowledge

Algorithmic mediations of consumption 93 as actors, in the thematization and figurativeness of discursive temporalities and spatialities manifested in the discursive up- dating of platforms of interactions in networks. This process also requires understanding enunciation as communication in productive, circulation, and consumption and appropriation of discourses processes in the extratextual social field of the media, but capable of circulating meanings, hence the importance of Landowski’s social semiotics (2014). The traditional protocol of narrative and discursive semiotics already exists and only needs adaptations to the reality of the narratives and discourses of the digital, algorithmic, considering the ways of life that go beyond the textual forms but are loaded with meanings and senses. It is noteworthy that the field of circulations and consumption requires an anthropological competence of culture to detect media uses and consumptions, requiring, in addition to socio-discursive understandings, an ethnographic and ethnological vision for a complete comprehension of this communi- cational mediation of the culture of digital humanity, via algo- rithms and individuals in their life contexts. Only from that, it becomes possible to accumulate a set of information about the discursive formulations of algorithmic advertising and analyze the interaction regimes in their concrete manifestations. 4. Conclusions The continuation of this reflection seeks to materialize and explore the dimensions of the agenda formulated here and does not disregard the fact that working with big data implies technical support for research procedures, with the use of soft- ware for processing data of a quantitative nature for work with a large volume of data. On the other hand, this aspect of the volume of data creates a difficulty for the semio-pragmatic proposal, as it would not apply to the general data of a phenomenon of brands, but a cut of consumer realities, from the selection of better-delimited data, envisioning a deeper understanding of their social logics of meaning production.
