Given that the other is the opponent to shoot down, all means seem adequate. Fake news does not correspond to the simple media- tization of rumors, factual inaccuracies, and lies. They are pro- cesses orchestrated due to polarizing structures. The objective is twofold: to demarcate the opponent as showing a profile be - low human dignity; and in the same step, based on this radical distinction, to make intended allies forget the differences that they could entertain with the disseminating pole of fake news.
