Jairo G. Ferreira 326 de Barcelona (1998), with a masters degree in Rural Extension from Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (1992), Doctorate in Periodism - Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2000), and post-doctoral internship at Sorbonne III La Nouvelle (France). Visiting Professor at Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (Argen- tina, 2013) and Universidad Nacional del Este (Paraguay, 2016). She is part of the CAPES-STINT 2020-23 project. She has pub- lished 87 articles in specialized journals and 170 papers in an- nals of events in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. She has 98 book chapters, 6 published books, and she has organized 23 works, in addition to seven forewords or presentations. She has four processes or techniques and another 370 items of techni- cal production. She currently coordinates three research proj- ects and one of development. In her professional activities, she has interacted with 375 collaborators in co-authoring scientific works. She serves as a member of the editorial board and a re- viewer of several journals. She was Coordinator of the Research Group on Communication Policies and Strategies at Sociedade Brasileira de Estudos Interdisciplinares da Comunicação - IN- TERCOM (2007-2010). As a researcher, she receives resources for projects and scholarships from development agencies such as CAPES, CNPq, FAPERGS, FINEP, and FAO-ONU.
