Platforms, algorithms and AI: Issues and hypotheses in the mediatization perspective

Antônio Fausto Neto 194 on preventive protocols to combat the virus, making use of narratives, enunciating shared knowledge and detailing defense strategies against the virus. Strategies of this nature transform traditional “public utility” campaigns into a new type of conversation, operating ac- cording to calendars, pedagogies, and orientations focused on the interests and expectations of diverse social actors. Expert speeches conduct, through networks, the experimentation of a public conversation about the manifestations of the coronavi- rus, based on contact circuits whose messages are constructed according to enunciations of the social fabric itself. 7. Final comments In this article, we have tried to systematize some conceptual, theoretical, and methodological aspects, although marks of these issues inevitably merge with observations made in terms of conceptualizing empirical work. By way of conclu- sion, we highlight, in the first place, the nature of the study on the problem of circulation since its mode of existence stands out as the main object of all the reflections presented. We indicate them due to their potential as relevant ref- erences for circulation research development. However, we do not understand them as “founding texts” because their bases are situated in a broader semiosis. In any case, we believe they offer and will continue to proffer singular contributions whose manifestations cannot be unknown by paths that carry forward circulation as an object of investigation. Our research on the subject is conducted during various circumstances, such as object’s processualities that impose their conditioning on the observational process developed. The visit to the sources generates analytical work that goes beyond the “state-of-the-art” exercise on the object. The nature of the drawings and methodological strategies, in turn, is placed in front of an object that offers a singular dynamic. We highlight the relevance of the materials that con- stituted the extensive corpus of study presented in this work, constituting an empirical-theoretical-conceptual “coming and
