Circulation: from the passage zone to the ambiance of interpenetrations of meanings 195 going” that contemplates different contexts and moments, in which the manifestations of the circulation processes were seen and moved forward. We seek to accentuate the power of the ma- terials examined by asking questions, addressing clues for the realization of the analytical work, and leading, in some way, our steps amid trajectories constituted by many couplings. Between data mappings, process descriptions, material analyses, conversations with authors, revisiting previous research, and so on, a unique challenge emerges from a method- ological point of view. This challenge concerns the articulation between the paths of circulatory activity and the functioning of its manifestations, according to the materials that, in turn, point- ed and continue to point to different processualities. Based on the scenarios of these studies, we realized that circulation emerges as a problem named as an “intermedi- ate link” and whose “empiricism” was unknown. In the current phase of the “society undergoing mediatization,” it stands out for a technical-discursive work of interpenetration and coupling of social practices from different social systems. It is presented, in the reality of the media, according to clues that allow us to draw some of the manifestations and inferences about its me- diational nature. The conditions of meaning circulation are generating profound changes in the very activity of scientific investigation. Many of the causes are associated with mediatization processes built and articulated around couplings of diverse practices whose manifestations transcend the singularity of a given field or social practice.
