Platforms, algorithms and AI: Issues and hypotheses in the mediatization perspective

Perspectives and questions on the advent of cultural and information platforms 39 specificities of insertion of cultural productions and their actors in sociotechnical, industrial, financial, regulatory, geopoliti- cal and cultural realities in the process of transformation. And the three, in their own way, must be weighed, considering the “meaning” produced by the media presentation of culture and its issues directed to the public space, to the political-social di- mensions, and to the evolution of what is considered “cultural” in our societies (Bouquillion, 2023). We will add that this is an analogous reasoning that can be applied to informational issues. These three approaches taken together seem relevant to dealing with the ongoing changes in media coverage in the areas considered. References BOUQUILLION, Philippe.
