Mediatized Sapiens: Communicational knowledge

In search of the lost movement in communication research 73 tems. The Enactive Strategic Communication theory contributes to a specifically communicational epistemology by sustaining new schemes for the definition of communicational knowledge problems: it is our encounters in diversity – as shared actions and meanings – that articulate our bodies with our thoughts and our societies. The ERC organizes a specifically communicational methodological scaffolding that enables other forms of knowl- edge construction and other alternative relationships to the cur- rently dominant academic and scientific rationality. Thus, it constitutes another way of knowing and doing research focusing on conversational social change, a transdisciplinary and co-design communicational thought and action with the actors of the territories, which strives for the science of articulation. That is our contribution and our exploration with the meta-perspective of the Enactive Strategic Communication: - We propose to redefine communication as an en- counter in diversity (MASSONI, 2003), a conversational social change that makes worlds emerge. This is our specific object of study, and we investigate it from an inter and transdisciplinary approach - . We talked about how the research itself is the one that reorganizes what exists around what is analyzed and the con- sequent importance of situational research. How do we study it? From the communicational, with methodologies, techniques, instruments, and tools of the discipline. There, the importance of affects (emotions), corporality (since it is from where it is known), the context (since all communication is a special cognitive process that emerges from the relationships between all of the above in the actors of each territory). The meta-perspective of the Enactive Stragtegic Communication is an exploration of new schemes for communication, a search that we share with our colleagues from UNISINOS Fausto Neto (2008), Pedro Gomes (2017), and Jairo Ferreira (2017). In turn, the ESC theory is a critique of both computational and representationalist theories of communication. Communication is not disembodied, there is no communication if there are not bodies. Nor is it decontextualized: it is the situation, the living network environment that rules, the one that makes communi-
