Feminist profiles on Twitter: vigilance logics in the discursive circulation of BBB20
Abstract
This article starts from the context of society in the process of mediatization, in which social life is intertwined with the media in an increasingly intensified way. In this scenario, the intent is to describe how participants of feminist profiles produce surveillance logics to circulate their actions on Twitter about the reality tv show Big Brother Brasil 2020. For that, the project is based on the concepts of mediatization, circulation and surveillance. Discourse Analysis (AD) is used as a methodological contribution. Finally, it can be said that the logic of surveillance of feminist profiles fostered agendas that go beyond feminism at the same time that the movement looked at itself in order to modify its actions.
